(Agenzia VISTA) Bruxelles, 22 marzo 2016 - Centinaia di cittadini belgi e da tutta Europa hanno affollato questo pomeriggio la centrale place de la Bourse a Bruxelles per manifestare contro il terrorismo. Una manifestazione spontanea, alla quale hanno partecipato anche il premier belga Charles Michel e il presidente della Commissione Ue Jean-Claude Juncker
Il 22 marzo 2016 Bruxelles e’ stata colpita da tre attentati, avvenuti alle ore 8:00 circa: due presso l'aeroporto di Bruxelles e uno alla stazione della metropolitana di Maalbeck. Nelle esplosioni hanno perso la vita 35 persone, oltre 200 i feriti. Gli attentati sono stati rivendicati, dopo le 15:00, dall’ISIS, attraverso l'agenzia di stampa Amaq news. E stato utilizzato lo stesso esplosivo usato negli attentati di Parigi del 13 novembre 2015, inoltre sono stati trovati chiodi nello stesso esplosivo per renderlo il più letale possibile sulle persone. Due esplosioni sono avvenute presso la sala delle partenze dell'aeroporto di Bruxelles-National verso le ore 8:00 del mattino. Una terza ha avuto luogo sul vagone centrale di un convoglio della metropolitana Maalbeek nel centro della capitale belga.
